ITO Asa is a very fine and precious linen yarn, refined with silk and cotton. It is suitable for lace knitting, as a trace yarn or used with multiple strands for summer clothes.

ITO Zome Gima

ITO Zome Gima is a flat yarn like ITO Gima 8.5, but a bit wider. The raw white yarn is mechanical imprinted in an elaborate process: centimeter for centimeter is stamped irregularly with two colors with different intensity. That creates an unconventional yarn.

ITO Zome Gima is washable. We recommend hand wash. Available in 6 colors.

ITO Hana

ITO Hana is a masterpiece of colorwork! By dying and spinning a color scheme is produced that varies throughout the yarn. It's a pleasure to knit or crochet. Hana creates a great look in in the final garment. Due to its composition of alpaca, wool and silk it suits well to any cool weather and also winter items.

ITO Kinu

ITO Kinu is a 100% silk noil yarn, also called organic silk, as it is produced from the leftovers of spun filament silk. Differently colored fibers are blended for this silk noil yarn, to produce a melange effect. Kinu is an all-purpose silk yarn - for sportive as well as for elegant wear. Knit it single or multistranded. Enjoy its pleasant feel.

ITO Washi

ITO Washi follows the tradition of noble Japanese paper yarns with an extremely silky softness. The yarn has a good stitch definition and therefore also shows lace patterns nicely. The paper is twisted with a rayon thread which gives the necessary stability to garments and accessories. Washi is washable. We recommend handwash.

Paper yarns have a lasting tradition in Japan. They are often compared to silk in their noble character and have similar properties to silk: Cooling in summer and warming in winter. Urugami combines the lightness of paper with the soft touch of wool. A twisted paper core is wrapped in fluffy wool. The mixture of these different materials produces a smooth yarn with a clear stitch definition. The grip and drape of the knitted fabric are peculiar and unique. Available in 21 colors.
